| | It Christmas Eve, jerk! | | OK this is a rant! Dont say that I didnt warn you.Tonight is Christmas Eve and it should be time for the faimly to be together. Since my parents and siblings live so far away all I have is my husband and kids to spend the holidays with. Well about 4 o' clock my husband said he was going over to wish a merry Christmas to a friend of his. I didnt mind because the friend and his wife have always been good to me and the kids. I honestly thought he would be back in an hour or so.That was nearly 6 hours ago and he is still not home. He has called a couple of times saying that he is on his way and yet is STILL not here. The last time he called he had the nerve to ask "are you mad at me?" DUH!! I am so peeved right now I cant even see straight. Our son can only call us on our cell phone and he has it with him. Our son called and I didnt get to talk to him. Hubby said our son will call back at 10 to talk to me because he has had a bad day and needs to talk to me but somehow I doubt my husband will be home before our son calls back. I am more hurt than angry though. He would rather spend Christmas Eve at his friends house than at home with me and the kids. This may even ruin the... | |
