Discuss holiday items, ideas, and cheer!| You Couldn't PAY Me To Go To A Country Music Concert!!! | | Well, I take that back...I guess you could...because I'm being paid $50 to go to one tomorrow... seriously.[em]w00t[/em]I am NOT a big fan of country...I am a die-hard rocker, to be precise...but my boss wants to go see Tracy Lawrence at a bar about 160 miles from here...and he wants to get D-R-U-N-K...so, he is buying me a ticket and paying me $50 to be his designated driver tomorrow night.I can deal with a little country for that.[em]lol[/em]It's a good deal all around...I'm not much of a drinker anymore, and while I am not a big fan of country, I am a music lover, so I can listen to it without suffering too many bad side effects...[em]rolleyes[/em]It gets me out of town for a bit, and gives the boss a chance to tie one on without having to worry about a DUI...or worse, having an accident and possibly killing someone.Have you ever been a designated driver? | |
| | happy to be mylotting---lessons learned | | Well after a bumpy week last week of earnings going up and down, I'm happy to say that I have recovered from it and I don't know what I did but I had an slight earnings increase that helped offset that I've put the past behind me and am starting this week fresh and I have to say right now that looking at mylot and all the discussions I have started and responded to I have to say one thing, as moody or tempermental that I can be I would continue to stand by who I am and what I believe, and if that makes me enemies here, then that's fine.....I will not compromise who I am...or what I believe, I just may not say it on here to avoid the controversy, As the song Goes:

In any case, it's easy to see that this song describes what a true and great friend really is.
