Discuss holiday items, ideas, and cheer!| I managed to break my littlest toe chasing my son around the house | | It has almost been 3 weeks now, but the darn thing is still bugging me. I don't have and can't currently afford health insurance for myself. Therefore I haven't been to the doctors about it. I have popped it mostly back into socket (it did a complete 90degree) And have supported it with vet wrap and card board. It seems to be healing nicely, but every once and awhile it will start screaming. I have sometimes re-whacked it. Very glad I put the small pieces of cardboard slightly past my toe.Has anyone else broken a toe? I have done some research on it and got some great information. but would like to have others take on the situation.
| | got a littlest pet shop playset for only 64 cents at kohls! | | I wanted to share my shopping experience with others. I know alot of you are looking for cheap christmas presents for your family, such as your children, cousins ect. Littlest pet shop is a popular toy this season, and I think they are absolutly adorable! I wanted to share how I got one for 64 cents. Right now kohls is having a sale, they are 5 something with the sale. I went to thier website and signed up for emails. Within ten days you will get a coupon for five dollars off if you spent five dollars. So i went in today and got five dollars off my cousins playset and only spent sixty four cents! I was so happy with myself:) Does anyone else have some stories about bargain shopping? or possibly know of some good deals going on at certain stores? | |

| | In the Easter Basket | | Easter is less than two weeks away, have you started getting things for your child's Easter basket? This year we've decided to go easy on the candy and more heavy on the things like toys and trinkets that our children are more likely to enjoy. For my son's basket we've gotten a box of crayons, a Thomas the Tank engine and a Webkinz L'il Kinz bunny. For my daughter's we've also gotten a box of crayons and a Webkinz L'il Kinz Lamb as well as a spring pack of Littlest Pet Shop. We haven't gotten any candy yet, but we will get a little bit of candy to go in their baskets as well. What is your child going to find in their Easter basket on Easter morning? | |

| | how do you know that someone likes you? | | My friends at work keep on teasing me with another guy in our office. He's kind of cute, and I'm mildly interested, but not really in an intense kind of way. They all tell me that he's interested in me, but I can't be sure. Sometimes when he's talking to me (about work, mostly) he seems really animated, but then again sometimes it's like I'm talking to a wall. Sometimes he initiates conversations about everyday things, sometimes he just passes me by without the littlest hello. I'm confused. Does he or doesn't he? It's not that I'm really raring to go out with the guy; mostly I'm just curious and want to know how almost everyone in my department thinks that he likes me (or maybe they're just pulling my leg). How can you really tell that someone likes you? What exactly are the surest signs?(I'm compiling a mental checklist:p ) | |
| | Do you use PetSafe Wireless? | | A month ago, I bought the PetSafe Wireless in order to allow both my dogs to run around our yard, particularly on days when I cannot walk them. I spent time training them, and they're very receptive to the signal beeps that warn them get away from the boundary line, and they do in time before they are given a shock. Now here comes the kicker. They are both high energetic dogs, and one has a mental condition called impaired central nervous system (according to my vet), which means he cannot stay focused for very long and the littlest thing sets him off, even after a lot of exercise(I found out that if he runs around for six hours with five minute break intervals, he will sleep for eight hours. Any less than that, and he carries on as if he's had no exercise). Now at night and as long as there are no people walking their dogs in front of the house, they will stay in the yard. I can get the one to pretty much not go after anything, but if she sees him go, off she goes too to protect him. I have the collars set to six, recommended by the manufacturer for high energetic dogs, and the PetSafe Wireless is set on low to level 7. So there is a good distance away from the... | |
| | Best Friend. | | My best friend happens to be my older brother. It was not always like this. We use to fight all the time over the littlest things. Example: If he would want something, i would get it just so he could not have it, that would make him mad and my mission complete. We look back and laugh because we really wanted to dig into each others skin, fight to the death, ha ha. I had a skeleton that was in my closet named after him. I was just a kid! Crazy kids. We just grew up and got along i guess. But i like things this way.(:Anyway, i want to hear from you. Who is your best friend, how did you become best friends? Story time!! | |
| | My Sprite.. | | my wee lil girl.. turns 10 in a couple weeks. not so much a baby anymore.. which has been made so abundantly clear when the announcement of "mommy!! im gettin BOOBIES!!" was made "and theyre THIS big!!" while squishing her fingers together a whole quarter of an inch at best, a week or so ago>. < of oourse.. to celebrate such a nmomentous occaision.. a shopping trip HAD to be ventured upon!i remember when i took my eldest, now nearly 21, on her bra excursion. it was so very hysterical. the sort of moment every mother just counts the days on for a little bit of payback of embarrasments instigated by our offspring at our expense over the years. not knowing exactly where to find the smaller sect bras.. i absolutely HAD to ask the clerk in a loud and clear voice where to find them. my elder ducked into a clothing rack and refused to come out. she nows looks upon this moment in her childhood with laughter and fondness. expecting much the same from the littlest of my loins.. we headed off to the wonderful world of wallymart. to my surprise.. while her ears turned the tiniest shade of red only noticeable to one as observant as myself.. she stood her ground. stood proud and... | |
| | Do you have failures and regrets in life? | | As a human I believe that we all have failures and regrets in life.
Failed to success, failed to love, failed the exams and etc.
Me myself failed, I failed to give my parents more better life, before when I was single I dreamed and I promised a better life for my parents, but it didn't happen cos I was tempted by love and make mistakes, And now I regret. My husband say to never regret something that once made you smile[em]happy[/em].But deep inside me I know I made the biggest mistake in my life. Sometimes the littlest thing in life changes something forever and there will be times when I wish I can go back to how things used to be but I just can't because things have changed so much.
Can you leave it all behind? cause you can't go back?
