| | the best christmas cake ever! | | My GF just sent this to me and I thought that I would share it with my friends on Mylot. I have already baked but if you haven't then you may care to try this.[b]Christmas Cake:[/b]Ingredients:* 2 cups flour
* 1 stick butter
* 1 cup of water
* 1 tsp baking soda
* 1 cup of sugar
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 cup of brown sugar
* Lemon juice
* 4 large eggs
* Nuts
* 1 bottle Brandy
* 2 cups of dried fruit Sample the brandy to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the brandy again. To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Repeat. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the brandy is still OK. Try another cup... Just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 eggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the fluffy fruit up off floor. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the brandy to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something. Check the brandy. I am asking this question for many reasons, first of all I need some films for my Christmas day as me and my family will be watching a few and some people would want to know too maybe for the same reason I am. | | What Is The Best Christmas Gift You Have Ever Received? | | I received two awsome gifts from my "Daddies" in 2001. My Dad gave me a big box of 78 RPM records that he'd gotten me somewhere, and there were A LOT of my favourite songs in there, a lot of records I'd been looking for. My step-dad made me a beautiful jewellery box with a plaque on it that say "to Leah with Love, Dave". 2001 was an awsome Christmas.And in 2008 my husband gave me a diamond heart pendant. I'd always wanted one of those.:) It would be impossible to choose between those three. LOL:) Those were three of the best gifts I've ever received, and there have been many more wonderful gifts over the years, and I know there will be many many more. | |

Christmas Day is coming.i am thinking about the special chritmas gifts.do you have any good ideas?i have a new foreign friend and i want to give him a surprice on Christmas Day.But i am not familar with the tradition of Christmas Day in west.I want to get some purchase on-line,which normall needs 10-20 days to delivery from china to USA.i think it is time to do this.I see some christmas cards in www.bestwonderful.com which combine chinese elements.May be i will choose it.
