Discuss holiday items, ideas, and cheer!| Superbowl party do you have a menu planned? | | I am in charge of the food this year for a superbowl party. There will be about 75 people coming so far. I am having wings (hot, mild, bbq & garlic parm) sloppy joes, rigatoni, stuffed jalapenos, taco dip, cheese plate, veggie tray with dip and chips,pretzels and dips. I am also thing of getting about six sheets of pizza. Does any one else have any ideas I could use? | |

| | What Will You Be Doing On SuperBowl Sunday? | | Apparently, in the USA food consumption is the highest on SuperBowl Sunday; take out/delivery, SuperBowl parties, and I assume all Sports Bars will be filled. But what will you be doing this Sunday? And by the way, Pittsburgh Steelers or Arizona Cardinals? | |
| | Hoarding Candy | | Just wanted to share this funny memory. Years ago when my kids were younger, they always had Halloween parties at school, then we would take them out trick or treating at night. My youngest son, who always saved everything,and I mean everything, would take a whole bunch of his candy and hide it from his brothers and sister. Well time went on and the candy would be forgotten. Well we always had superbowl parties at our house and my daughter and I would always make food and snacks for all the guys and their friends. Well next thing I know, my son gets out all that Halloween candy he had been hoarding all that time and sells it to his friends!!! And...believe it or not, they would actually buy it from him! We thought that was a hoot! Now he is a very smart, savvy young man who has a really good job and just bought his first house. We are very proud of him.
