| Low Priced Photo Cards | | My sister in law is looking for cheap photo birth announcements for when she gives birth to my little niece. Does anyone have some recommendations for low priced photo cards? Are there any deals going on in the beginning to middle of June? | |
| | Christmas cards - did you take and edit your own photos for them? | | This year I did[em]lol[/em]. Usually we do some professional pictures and order the cards from the studio, but this year I was VERY slow about it so instead we took the photos at a friends' house and then I edited and uploaded to Walgreens lol.How do you usually do yours? Do you prefer photo cards or plain cards? | |
| | Would you be more inclined to buy a card with a poem on it? | | Ok here is the question. Would you be more inclined to buy a photographic greeting card if there was a poem or Bible scripture on the photo? I recently added two of these to my redbubble page. One has a poem I wrote and it has a butterfly photo the other one has a Bible scripture and photo of Gladiolas. I started playing around with a different photo program. | |

| | christmas cards,,,,, | | do you like the ones people send with their family pictures on them, i think thats tacky. | |
| | seehere.com - photocards | | Have you ever used the site to order photocards or gifts? I recently came across a code (freebies4mom-1109) that allows you to get 50 free photo cards (a $40 value.) So of course I tried it.. and 3 days later I got the photo cards via Fed ex.. they turned out great. just in time for christmas as well.
I had to actually type the code out as it wouldnt accept it when i tried to copy/paste. It didnt even ask for cc info once i put the code in.Have you ever used the service? If so, what was you experience? Do you order Christmas/holiday cards?

| Do you send out Christmas cards? | | I'm talking about actual paper or photo cards that you put in an envelope, stick a stamp on and post!
Its been a while since I actually did that. Last year I bought a few cards, but ended up sending ecards and emails to almost everyone.
What do you plan to do this Christmas?
| | Specially Marked Packages like them or not? | | I love specially marked packages that have a chance of winning a prize. Do you grab one of them first or just the first package that you see on the shelf? I just purchased Shrek The Third and won a sticker sheet at Snapfish. Also there was an offer for 20 custom photo cards when you pay shipping of $2.99 and coupon for Shrek or Shrek 2 saving $3.00. I really feel my deal was great and hope everyone else that looks for specially marked packages finds they won a prize. | |
| | "Mom's Night Out" Expo | | My son and I attended an expo at my sons school this evening. There were about 10 different stalls where mothers/aunts/children sold different types of arts and crafts from handmade jewellery to custom made ones from China, wearable art like hand knitted purses, scarves, belts and headbands, wooden treasures like jewellery boxes and frames, photo cards, girl scouts selling bath salts, soaps and candles and also another stall called Arbonne International (like Avon) selling gift baskets full of creams, perfumes, oils and sorts. My son bought one packet of photo cards ($5), a painted rock (0.25c) and a star magnet ($2). I bought a beautifully decorated bookmark (metal thin peice with beads dangling on the side - very different and colorful $7), a pkt of bath salts ($2) and soap to match ($1). Once my son is fast asleep, I am going to take a nice hot soak in the bath with my new bath salts and even try out my new soap.Do you attend such expo's or arts and crafts stalls at your children's school or in your community? What things do you like to buy?

| Does anybody on here have a Linux based O/S system? | | I have been hearing more and more about Linux sytems and I want to know a little more from someone who has one. I have never even seen one, so I don't know how compadible Linux is with all the software that I use and hardware like HP printers and photo cards etc. I also don't know anything about it's internet interface. So if you have one I would love to hear about it! | |
