| Do you have a favorite Christmas movie? | | Lately we have been watching alot of the old Christmas cartoons. Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph and so on. I love these old cartoons and the kids seem to be enjoying them too.
Do you have a favorite Christmas movie that you watch every year?
| | What is your favorite Christmas movie? | | Believe it or not, I never watched It's a Wonderful Life in all my years until last year! I would see bits and pieces and knew all the catch phrases, but never watched it beginning to end. But it isn't my favorite. Home ALone was really funny and I liked it but it isn't my favorite. Christmas Vacation (with Chevy Chase) was hilarious but isn't my favorite. Prance is my favorite. I can watch that all year long tho! So if I choose a movie I like to watch just at christmas time, I'd choose....guess I don't have a favorite! Do you? Clue me in! I probably have one I like, just dont' remember I like it! | |
| | What is your favorite Christmas movie? | | Mine used to be It's a Wonderful Life, but since I've been alone it makes me too sad to watch.
My new favorite is Christmas Vacation.
I've watched this movie dozens of times and it never fails to disappoint.
We've seen this movie so much (my brother and I), that we like to mimic the lines as it goes.
Some favorites:
Don't throw me down Clark.
That there's an ARRRRR VEEEE... a recreational vehicle.
You surprised to see me Clark?
Eddie, I could wake up tomorrow with my tongue stapled to the carpet and not be more surprised.
Sh*tter's full!
With my old plate everytime they turned on the microwave I'd p*ss myself and forget my name for three days.
yes sir.
A holiday classic.

| Can you Watch a Movie Over and Over and Over? | | My hubby can watch his old movies over and over week after week after week. Can you?We get the turner classic movie channel and I swear it's Clint Eastwood every night. The old speghetti westerns... what a laugh those are. But he loves them. Not to mention the John Wayne movies that are on some channel 24/7. I have a couple of favorites that I like to watch once in awhile. Steel Magnolia's, Gone With the Wind, Funny Girl, Forest Gump... but that's about it.Are you one that can watch them over and over and over? | |
| | It's that time of year, so what's your favorite | | Christmas movie? I love them all, from Miracle on 34th St, to It's a Wonderful Life, not to mention the old "cartoons" Rudolph and Frosty. But I'd have to say my absolute favorite is
A Christmas Story with Ralphie. I love it when TBS does the 24 hours marathon.
| | What is your favorite family movie? | | We do family movie night a lot. Well, almost every night we watch something. Most nights we watch a dvd of an old tv series. Right now we are hooked on Little House on the Prairie. But sometimes we like to watch a movie instead. Some of our favorites have been like old Disney movies such as Herbie, That Darn Cat, or Freaky Friday. During the Holidays, we love Polar Express, Miracle on 34th Street (new) and The Santa Clause 1-3. Some of our new favorites are Nim's Island, Narnia, and the American Girl shows. How about you? What are your favorite family movies? | |

| Tv and the holiday season where you live... | | [em]happy[/em] Hi everyone.I know most of us around the world are celebrating the holidays in form or another this time of year. I live in the USA and we have TV specials, those shows that are focused on a holiday theme. Some are new each year, such as the singing and parades and such. But others, both cartoons and movies, are considered classics. Some became popular even before I was born, and others came into being when my own kids were young. Many of us watch our same favorite holiday TV showings year after year. Some of my favorites:Its a Wonderful Life
Miracle on 34th Street
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Frosty the SnowmanWhether you live in the US or anywhere else in the world, what are your favorite holiday things to watch on TV? What do you like about them?Karen
