| Did you make Christmas cookies this year, if so what kind? | | The kids and I made cut out cookies and decorated them, I also made peanut butter blossoms, and I was going to make M&M cookies in the Christmas colors, but when I went to get the M&M's I discovered my husband had eaten them. So I ended up making regular old chocolate chip cookies, I also made regular fudge, and mint fudge. Did you make christmas cookies this year, if so what kind? | |
| | Voortman Christmas Cookies | | So every year around this time I buy my my fiance these red and green cookies made by Voortman's. he loves them. The whole cookie is engulfed in red or green sprinkles that you would almost think they were dyed that color. Does anyone know the cookies I am referring to. i can't find them anywhere this year. Not sold sperately anyway. I can purchase a container the size of a deli tray with mixed cookies in itat Redner's Warehouse Markets. But I am only looking for the packages of the red and green cookies by themseves. Does anyone know where I can get them at? | |

| | Trouble Making Christmas Cookies | | I'm here to vent for a minute or two! We're making christmas cookies and we've got all of the ingredients in the bowl... Well it's so hard stirring it. | | Christmas Cookies! | | Do you bake Christmas cookies? This year I baked some of the basic sugar cookie dough ones -- the kind you roll out and cut shapes out of. I went to my daughter's house and baked them with her and her best friend since way-back. This girl -- well, woman-- has been her best buddy since junior high school and lived with us for a year. So she is kind of like another daughter to me. Her 13 year old daughter came too and we had so much fun! We got a lot of giggles because for the first batch, I had not used enough flour to roll the dough out on. The shapes stuck and the 13 year old and I couldn't recognize our shapes. We decorated them like anything we wanted to and just had a blast!So do you do a lot of Christmas baking? Do you like to do those basic frosting decorated shapes? | |

| Does anybody else love Christmas cookies and biscuits? | | I just like looking at Christmas cookies in bakeries and little shops where everything is hand made how about yourself? I kind of have a problem eating them sometimes because they look so cute,however if I don't eat them usually somebody else does and I miss out altogether. | |
| | I am Making Christmas Cookies tonight | | Every year I make a few dozen shortbread cookies for parties, relatives, co-workers or just my family. I find that some find that they don't like shortbread or claim to not like it until they try mine.
Tonight I"m making shortbread cookies for a crib tournament tomorrow. All the women are to bring goodies and the men don't have to. How fare is that? Not at all I think!

I love almost all Christmas cookies, but I'd have to say my favorite are the peanut butter cookies with Hershey's kisses in them. | |
