For a fact that its Jesus' birthday its also a time of love and giving. The fantastic about this day is that it brings this certain athmosphere in the air that makes everything just perfectly okay. We tend to tone down with our activities and celebrate this day solemnly with our loved ones. This coming season, how would you have yourself A Merry little Christmas? | | have yourself a merry little christmas | | maybe i am just sad right now. knowing the days and months and even years that passed. as i looked at it, i can't help but cry. all the failures and the struggles and the mistakes i did and the sins i made. it made me ashame though. it wasn't easy to be here and be living in this planet with this sinful nature body we had. as for me, to live each day and even surpass the misunderstandings each day, the struggles each day and the trials and temptations each day is more than enough for me to thank the Lord. and as it is Christmas season, i just want to have a merry little christmas.. merry in a sense that there are lots of reasons to celebrate the season. the saving Grace of the Lord through His SOn and the Christmas is to be celebrated with joy and gladness in our hearts. though the failings and the struggles.. hmmm ..life[em]sad[/em] | |
| | I Really "Had Myself a Merry LITTLE Christmas"! | | I've been feeling so depressed lately partly because I wasn't able to do hardly any shopping for Christmas due to severe financial hardship at this time. I've been awaiting my disability claim for over 2 years now and while we were able to hang on fairly well for a time we've now scraped the bottom of the barrel clean and it's a real b*tch if you know what I mean. My husband and I were beating ourselves up for weeks about not being able to get things for our grandkids that we wanted to and feeling even worse because our daughter and son-in-law, who have had enough struggles of their own due to health concerns, had helped US out in recent weeks and months so that meant they couldn't afford much for Christmas either! Basically, it's been a tough few months with no end in sight at this time. However, I'm so blessed by having a wonderful immediate as well as extended family and I also married into one and so did my daughter, thank God! Everyone pulled together and helped everyone else out; my son-in-law's brother and his wife, who aren't well-off themselves came through with a small loan so the kids got some presents - not many, but they were happy - and we were all able to enjoy an... | |
